The Jr. Pee Wees had another amazing showing in route to a 4-0 victory over the Marysville Chiefs this past Sunday. The Scorchers had their way with Marysville’s defense as they led the way for Izaiah Anderson’s TD as well Caleb Cooley’s 3TD’s. With constant pressure provided by Javier Haro, Mathew Palmquist, and Ernesto Gonzales the Chiefs’ offense was unable to muster a single TD. 50 images |

Photos Taken by Kerri Cooley The Chico Valley Scorchers' Pee Wees defeated the Enterprise Junior Hornets, 14-0. Both touchdowns were scored by Jordan Cooley. Anthony Montalvo kicked for the extra point. Jared Ortiz had an awesome defensive and offensive game with a big tackle for a loss on a key 3rd down, an interception and six carries for over 40 yards rushing. The Jr. Midgets played an amazing game on Sunday! We won our first league game against the Chiefs 34 to 0.The Scorchers had touchdown runs from Bailey Fritter, Blake Chester, Joshua Elysee and Tucker Donnelly. On defense Shane Edwards had a interception and Kehmarr McMillian Had a interception return for a touchdown. Jordan Vasquez recovered a fumble and Bialey Fritter had a tackle for a safety. 84 images |

Photos Taken by Sandy Urrutia All I can say is wow - the kids are running on all cylinders! First game of regular league and I couldn't be more proud! The Chico Scorchers Midgets dominated the Marysville Chiefs with a final score of 38-12. Cale Crawford passed for 2 TD's to Ryan Steindorf and Dennis Jordan. We also had a touchdown from Nick Whichello, and two touchdowns from Drew Minkler. Our Defensive stand-out in this game was Joseph(Curly)Richmond with 5 sacks! The next challenge is the powerhouse of River Valley; these are a great bunch of kids and I think they are ready for the challenge!! 53 images |
